Barbie Girl* Now Available in Stores, summer 2022

Barbie Girl* Now Available in Stores is a 2-channel video installation, showcasing an extended selection from the original video piece Barbie Girl*, focusing on the "toy aisle", which has been overtaken by BarbieGirls*. In a reactionary world, this piece depicts a world in which an explicitly flamoyant queer-trans toy exists and has taken the place of the biggest doll in our current reality. The world of Barbie Girl* sees a queer trans social media/movie star/fashion model/artist/space-traveler turned children's toy, and our reality gets a plimpse into Barbie World. This piece is a practive in video installation and queer-trans-expression.
